About Me
I’m Brett, founder of KV Sustainability Consultants.
My background is in finance, with experience across startup investing and mature companies alike. I’ve spent time analyzing how businesses grow, how decisions are made, and where systems start to break as companies scale.
A consistent pattern emerged. Many strong businesses weren’t losing out because of their product or service—but because how they showed up didn’t match the quality of what they delivered.
That perspective shapes how I approach this work. I’m less interested in surface-level marketing tactics, and more focused on the underlying systems that drive how a business attracts and converts opportunities.
I found that digital presence sits at the center of that. It’s where positioning, trust, and client acquisition come together—and where small gaps can have an outsized impact on results.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me running, playing hockey, watching Formula 1, or attempting to cook something slightly too ambitious. I’m based in Lake Tahoe and spend as much time outdoors as possible.
